Rocky Linux 9 Advalgo Style

This website is dedicated to providing documentation and instructions on how to do all the thing Advanced Algorythms LLC needs to do with Rocky Linux 9.1. We are a strong advocate for the open source community and especially so for Rocky Linux 9.1 which is proving to be even more robust than CentOS with an amazing team of developers.

Rock Linux 9 comes right out of the box with a feature called CoPilot a web based interface that allows you to perform command line functions in a browser based interface. They built a distro (distrubution) that bundles KDE Plasma so that you can actually use Rocky Linux as a Desktop operating system. You can find that distribution download HERE

This is truly amazing! Rocky Linux is providing a platform to allow those mystified by Linux a great place to actually start using and learning it with relative ease. This is not to say that it is a walk in the park (although it is pretty close) but rather you do not need to be an IT guy or gal with years of linux experience to use it. I have been using Rocky Linux as a Desktop platform for about a year now and find it very easy to use with all the features I need to develop linux based software in a robust sandbox.

I did however need to go through some learning curve in order to get the Nvidia drivers to work a few times after updates occurred. This however also was partially due to KDE stuff and this was on Rocky Linux 8. After testing the Rocky 9 installation everything was seamless. This has to be due to the amazing talent involved in the Rocky Linux community. In any event it is my hope that you find the information and knowledge on this site useful and if not? Well there are numerous other websites on the internet! No one is forcing you to be on this site!
